Our Story

Originally built and born in the city of Montclair, Ca. Jim Morrisey had started the company with high hopes to facilitate the Aftermarket Automotive Industry. Established April 15th 1981 he started with van conversions. Accessory House did the top of line vans with shag carpet and high roofs for cruising the boulevard or relaxing near the beach. They also distributed parts all around Southern California for other aftermarket shops wholesale.

As time progressed and the industry started to shift, a larger demand for Truck accessories came into play. Steve Chubbuck, owner and president of Accessory House DBA AH Motorsports had envisioned a grand opportunity. With many years of personal expertise and previous career in the Truck/Automotive industry, he felt it was a perfect time to incorporate something that few were doing or knowledge in. The Lift Kit. Steve saw the customer base and location as a perfect stomping ground for this type of service and took off running. He Purchased Accessory House from Jim in March 2001 and has done nothing but progress. Suspension Lifts and customer service has been Steve’s top priority for the last 18 years. We have dedicated the time and education to learning what is best fit for every customer and truck application. We are proud to deliver Lift Kits and service to Southern California.
